A quick look

Nothing much happening on the bench front even has the same rubbish around it. IMGP6986
The walk up to the bench looking from the road even then the rubbish on the seat was visible,
That's as close as I went as nothing much to report still recovering from it been a totally new bench I’m thinking.

And there it was… ….Gone

Yesterday I had a walk up to the bench after a couple of weeks. The last time I was there its was covered in snow so was expecting a change after the snow went. I wasn’t disappointed, I did get a change. The snow had melted and revelled a totally different bench !!!
   Looked at it around..
Yep a different bench!!!!
Not sure I like this one as much and have no idea why the old one was moved. Looked ok to me, wasn’t rotten or broken. But will carry on a see over the coming weeks what happens to this one. Will it transform into three piece suit or a toilet seat in the coming months?
There is already evidence of Landscaping the makings of a banana tree?

A Cold Seat

Another heavy snow fall today and I was hoping to get back from work before the snow on the bench had melted. Earlier in the week I was disappointed as the snow had gone before I could get to the bench. Today I was lucky and took my Q along instead of the K5 to capture it.

Only just got there in time as the snow was beginning to melt.

Winter Seat.

Woke up to a light covering of snow and I was able nip out and visit the bench. Quite a difference from a few days ago.

In the back ground there is a rotting tree trunk. Will hopefully be seeing more of this in future blogs about the bench.

I then moved around the other side of the bench. Fine you may think. Suddenly found myself standing in dog shit. Moved over a bit and found more hidden in the snow.

the view from the bench and the red dog shit bin in clear view. Seem ironic to me that as I took in that view I was wading through dog muck.

The snow was still falling when I had to leave but if it gets thicker at some point perhaps I could get to record that.

Take a seat….

This year I have decided on a couple of projects to encourage me to take Photos. So as well as my Photo a week project I decided to choose a place  or an object I could keep going up to over time and take photo’s. Showing different views of the place and or  how the object/place changes with time.

There’s a cycle track not far from my house and while riding my bike I saw a bench that I pass on a regular basis so thought the bench would be ideal. As its not too far away from home so the theory is that I could get there at least once or twice in the month.

First off I took a general view of the bench.

A more detailed shot.

Next time I may look at some of the plants growing around it or the rubbish  left around it.

Until next time please take a seat.
