Another heavy snow fall today and I was hoping to get back from work before the snow on the bench had melted. Earlier in the week I was disappointed as the snow had gone before I could get to the bench. Today I was lucky and took my Q along instead of the K5 to capture it.
Only just got there in time as the snow was beginning to melt.
Woke up to a light covering of snow and I was able nip out and visit the bench. Quite a difference from a few days ago.
In the back ground there is a rotting tree trunk. Will hopefully be seeing more of this in future blogs about the bench.
I then moved around the other side of the bench. Fine you may think. Suddenly found myself standing in dog shit. Moved over a bit and found more hidden in the snow.

The snow was still falling when I had to leave but if it gets thicker at some point perhaps I could get to record that.
This year I have decided on a couple of projects to encourage me to take Photos. So as well as my Photo a week project I decided to choose a place or an object I could keep going up to over time and take photo’s. Showing different views of the place and or how the object/place changes with time.
There’s a cycle track not far from my house and while riding my bike I saw a bench that I pass on a regular basis so thought the bench would be ideal. As its not too far away from home so the theory is that I could get there at least once or twice in the month.
First off I took a general view of the bench.

Next time I may look at some of the plants growing around it or the rubbish left around it.
